First impressions are a big thing.The first impression was Bad,very bad.This place is really outdated and needs alot of updating.The Elevator smelled really bad,and our room was even worse.The room smelled sour and musty(i'm being nice),so i went to see if we could get another room..it smelled bad .. Great family hotel, beautiful grounds for the price- LOVE the location with swimming lagoon, right next to all kinds of restaurants and little shops, great short running location. This hotel is worth the $ and on the edge of the town, so it's not noisy. Could use a new mattress, but room comfy. When I had a couple needs: table for balcony, extra pillow and towels, they were right on it. Didn't have time to check out entertainment or pool/beach, but they looked nice and our 1 .. More>

everything went fine, however Kona has a shuttle which takes people up and down the street (4-5 miles).
