Ya e the pool a poor because of all the missing tiles in the pool. I saw couple people get cuts on the feet ans the one needed stitches. Luckily no one from our party got hurt. Overall appearance was great and the value we spent was well worth the stay. Food was very good as well.

Used apple for years-great results. Booked Now Jade, stayed at Now Sapphire many times, wanted to try another property. Upon check-in, room was unavailable. Wanted to transfer to Sapphire for the night which we declined as too much hassle and would loose one day of vacation. Room was at far back of property overlooking lagoon "swamp". Insisted they move us to better room. Moved to a very nice room with ocean view. NO air-conditioning. (Understood from other guests the AC was out most everywhere. Finally got the AC fixed - great stay from then on. UNTIL, the person checking us in insisted on having my credit card to place a $300.00 US "deposit" on the room which I had already paid for. He had my credit card info and proceeded to do so. I was extremely upset but he insisted it would be refunded upon check out. Talked to many guests and they apparently did the same to many of them. NEVER had Now properties requested this before. Upon check out I had to insist on a credit. My CC still not showing the credit only the $300.00 charge. Will fight with card company on this issue. We will not return to Jade for this very issue. The property, most all staff, food and service, other than pool/bar, were excellent. I simply do not like being treated this way after being a loyal Now guest for years.

My husband, grown son and I recently spent a week at this resort. Overall, I would rate our experience as "good". The two big bummers of our trip were out of anyone's control. First, it rained 6 of the seven days we were there. Secondly, there was a huge issue with seaweed (I was somewhat expecting this as reading a review right before we left, the reviewer mentioned the seaweed situation. As for the resort, we were pretty pleased overall. As being new to the All-Inclusive Resort experience, it gave us some insight to what is important to us as travelers. The food, overall, was just OK. They are feeding masses of people, for that reason you may see the same food in restaurants as you do on the buffet (mainly "side dish" type items). By the end of the week we were bored with our food options as we felt like we'd been eating a lot of food for the whole week. Mind you, we did eat at every restaurant at least once and only the buffet once for dinner. The drinks were very weak! Not that I need my socks knocked off, but, I'd like to at least know there is some alcohol in my drink. Come to find out, this is a common complaint with inclusive travel (again, we are very new to this type of vacationing). We also felt, at times and by certain staff, to "tip" extra. Gratuity is included when you pay for your stay, which our travel agent was sure to remind us of. However, there were times where it almost felt like staff were waiting for an extra little something. I was a little turned off by this. Being from the US we are used to tipping all the time. It's easy to lose sight of the fact that you've paid for these tips when you paid for your trip. Yes, there were times where we felt that we really received above and beyond service. However, I don't like being made to feel "obligated" to tip more. This trip has helped us realize what is important to us when we travel. This is a nice resort with, what I felt, good amenities and a very nice staff.

The hotel aggressively pushes timeshare presentations and constantly calls you at 8am to come pick up coupons for hotel services that could have been provided at check in, but rather they continuously wake people out of their beds on vacation to come pick up the coupons then aggressively push the time share. it is interruptive to my vacation to be harassed about a time share.

My husband and I traveled to this resort for a destination wedding of a good friend. The hopes of a nice couple days together as a couple were quickly lost upon arrival. Our transportation from the airport was more like a high speed chase through the flooded streets with our driver weaving to pass other vehicles. When we finally arrived to the hotel we were informed that we had a tropical view which upon booking we had requested an ocean view with a king bed. In order to accommodate our request, they happily charged us almost an additional $300. The cost may have been worth it had it not been for the following: 1)Beach view meant staring at piles of endless seaweed along with the supposed clean up efforts. 2) A jacuzzi tub which filled with brown water and last but certainly not least 3) Water dripping through our ceiling all night long and a bed full of gnats when we awoke. Although one calculus not change the weather, service should have been amazing due to the cost of this resort. Some examples of poor service included, turn down service only 1 night, towel atremdents refusing to give guests towels even when they preceeded to wrap themselves up in them and the implication of tips around every corner. Realistically at this resort the only way to get ANY assistance it by tipping and that is still not guaranteed. Bars and restaurants were repeatedly out of beverages, food and desserts. I have traveled to many places including apple vacations to Mexico and Jamaica before and have never had any of the multitude of issues we encountered on this stay at the Now Jade. The hotel needs a complete overhaul of the building structure, food and beverage service and overall service. I also try to find the silver lining but unfortunately in this case the best part of our vacation was leaving with no chance of ever returning. I sincerely hope you are able to improve this resort with the above feedback and hopefully keep a higher standard for the price offered for these vacations if you would like travelers to continue wonbook through Apple. I believe we arrived around 2 to 2:30 pm. We were told our room was not ready. i realize the hotel check in is not until 3, but i believe the room was ready but the "sales" people want to get to you first to tell you what they can offer you, if you listen to their hour and half presentation etc. etc. So while we were going through what he was trying to offer us for going through the presentation i looked up and a fellow guest and he said "Run". I should of listened. We were extremely tired from travel (plane was delayed initially so we missed our connecting flight) the flight was longer than expected. We really just wanted to see our room!!!! after pressing the issue of just letting us see our room and we'll get back to you...he just kept on with it saying he really needed an answer if we would do the presentation. i wasn't on board what so ever but my husband thinking you can actually get something in this world for free was on board. So we said Wednesday just to tell him something to leave us alone, and after that was over our room was magically ready and we got to go to it. After unpacking we realized our room was staying muggy and was not getting colder. We let front desk know and we changed rooms. The new room was colder, but smelled like mold or something. i decided to just deal with it. im tired, its our honeymoon, and i am ready to just unpack and enjoy!! I think we probably would of stayed all 6 days if the weather was better, but after a day and a half of being there it was rain and storms from then on out. Obviously we know the hotel cannot control the weather and they definitely had entertainment set up everynight, but since it was raining we frequented the lobby area...which was a mistake!! Every time you would go to the lobby or by the lobby one of the sales people would come up to you EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. We told them no and started walking away, but they would walk with you. After a couple of days this is highly frustrating!!!!!!!! Maybe it was the rain, the room, but you just can't help but feel bombarded. It's like you had to stear clear of the lobby. Over all the resort ittself is not bad. It was definitely decent food for all inclusive, and the bed was really comfortable. The issue i had was with the sales people constantly in your face. It's my honeymoon i just want to be left alone and relax. We did end up leaving two days early and i wouldn't go back to the Now Jade resort.

Decided to go on a last minute trip for my husbands birthday. Had a few days off work, so we arrived Monday, the 12th and left early morning Thursday, the 14th. Shortly after check in, they came wanting us to participate in a seminar/ sales pitch. I politely rejected, explaining it was a short trip and didn't want to waste our limited time doing that. They insisted for over 15 minutes that we should participate and I had to continue to say no. Day 2, I went down to ask about transportation to Cancun. They wasted another 10 minutes of my time trying to insist on us participating in this seminar, explaining it would take "only" 45 minutes of my time. I, again, explain it was a short trip and was not worth it. I did start to get a little irritated and expressed that I didn't want to be asked again. After that, they gave me the information I asked for with little hesitation. On day 3, they asked us about participating in these seminars AGAIN. I want to make it clear that the grounds were stunning, the food was delicious, and the room was unbelievable. We were in the preffered club ocean view room. Absolutely beautiful resort. I would probably recommend this resort to friends and family, but expressing to them the strong insisting of the staff to participate in these seminars.

We visited Now Jade and as the hotel was clean and nice, the staff was somewhat friendly. The beach was horrifying and we were told that the Seaweed was out of their control, and I agree. What was in the Resorts control was the cleanup and removal, and the did a terrible job. The surrounding hotels did a fantastic job and I would have gladly moved to any of them. Staying In the preferred club area was on the end of the stinky seaweed piles, not a preferred beach location. Excuses are not acceptable when everyone around you takes care of their property and you do little. My last trip with Now Jade and they represent AMResorts poorly. Shame on the management!

Now Jade-Cancun is awesome! Our family, two adults and four children (21,19,16 & 13) loved it! The staff was excellent! From the entertainment to the food staff...everyone was great! Our rooms were nice. Our sons room had a smelly stink to it but we believe it came from the air. The seaweed was terrible on the beach and it stunk. While we would have loved to enjoy the beach, the seaweed was to gross to get around. But the pools were awesome! The infinity pool made up for the gross seaweed. The had Zumba, water aerobics, and games for the kids each day. We would recommend it to any family that wanted a great getaway in Mexico!

We had an amazing experience and Now Jade. It was very clean and the staff was exceptional. We has the best bar tender Angel and pool concierge, Benjamin. Every morning he reserved a cabana for us next to the pool and made sure our requests were met daily. He went above and beyond to make sure the quality of our stay was excellent. Angel made our poolside bar experience unforgettable. When we checked in they accommodated our room view by upgrading us to the governor's suite. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary; they gave us a few extra perks and made sure is was special for us. The food was great and the people and staff were very friendly. I highly recommend the French Restaurant. They have an amazing french onion soup in addition to filet minion and mashed potatoes. It has a beautiful terrace view overlooking the ocean and main entrance.

Let me start from the beginning Check In Service was very smooth Very helpful staff and very welcoming We even managed to have a partial ocean view room Room Very spacious room Suit like, where there is a reception area, small couch and chair which is very convenient Television is rather old Washroom was very spacious and clean House keeping service and refill of bathroom amenities is not the greatest Beach Clean beach, well cared for in terms of cleaning the sea weeds when the appear During the time we were there the sea had minimal sea weeds and beach was clean Pool The pool is spacious and water is clean only problem is a lot of the mosaic tiles are falling off It was sometimes a contest who will collect more tiles that are falling on the pool ground, I believe this needs serious attention from the hotel Service Service is great, every one wants to help and ensure you are satisfied Sometimes the bar service on the beach or pool is delayed or forgotten but they make it up for you the best they can Restaurants Multiple restaurants offering different food cultures Japanese, Italian, Mexican, French ..... in addition to the main buffet all of them are perfect, very tasty food, and waiters are extremely helpful and nice General They will try to persuade you to attend a sales presentation for their group offering a kind of “time share” it might be interesting / affordable for some people and if you attend they will give you 250$ “leisure money” which you can use towards any trip or excursion, so if you want you can it is 1.5 - 2 hours not bad if you are rewarded for your time Entertainment team Very active team, and very friendly multiple activities during the day with lots of fun and laughs and a nice show every night Overall a highly recommended hotel, most probably will go back soon

I can't say enough on how friendly (most) of the staff was. The bartenders and servers were second to none. The pool was nice and clean, though could have used more chairs. If you want a chair by the pool you need to be down very early to save one. The room was clean and well kept, though the A/C left something to be desired. Was there for a wedding, the wedding was done perfectly by the resort. Now for the bad, the food options are EXTREMELY limited. For breakfast your only real choice is a buffet with generic American breakfast food, warm milk and juices. Lunch had slightly more options but still nothing overwhelming, lunch buffet did not start until 12:30, beyond that there is a burger bar next to the pool and another restaurant with a small menu by the pool. The three actual restaurants are very small and are only open for dinner and unless you have a reservation good luck getting in. We managed to get a table at the Italian restaurant which while the service was good (minus the hostess I'll get to that later) the food was nothing to write home about. The wedding meal was good, but not up to the value and cost of the price. Finally the hostess at the Italian restaurant. We were seated, and had 4 empty seats at our large table, our server quickly took our basic orders, and started bringing appetizers when others in our group arrived for dinner. They walked in and sat with us. and the hostess came over and you would have thought they were trying to rob the place by joining us. She created an unnecessary scene and eventually walked away and allowed us to join our meal. That said did I enjoy my stay yes, would I ever go back? Unless it was for another wedding where they choose this resort, no not at all. Not worth the price tag in any way unless they open the restaurants for all meals.

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday in the now jade hotel and an absolutely brilliant time. The hotel is really clean, fairly small and the staff so friendly. They really could not do any more to help and nothing was too much trouble The pool area was cleaned and there enough sun loungers and towels for us every day. Wet towels can be replaced with dry ones later in the day Our room was clean and spacious and well maintained. Wet towels were taken away from your room and replaced around 6:30 pm then there is another room turn down later Food in the a la carte restaurants are mostly nice but portion sizes are small as they r designed for eating 5 small courses. Too small if u don’t eat more than 2 courses. You can’t book a la carte but we never had to wait for too long around 7pm. You can precook tables for “special events “ such as the fire show but to do this u need to buy a bottle of wine ( cheapest $50). I would say this is a con as the show really is not worth the cost of the wine and the food is transported from the restaurant kitchen upstairs, through the people onto the grassy area where u r seated. It can only be cold by the time it arrived There is a lovely 24 hr cafe and the buffet is lovely, if a little busy at times. Plenty of entertainment during the day if u want it but not pushed on u if you don’t The bike tour from the hotel to Puerto Morelos is worth doing The evening shows are ok but run on a weekly cycle therefore in week 2 of our holiday the shows were the same as week 1. Overall we had a brilliant time and would highly recommend this hotel to either couples or a family holiday ( adults only areas as well)

My husband and i just got married last weekend here and had 42 additional family members with us. Everyone had a wonderful time! The food was amazing, best food we’ve had at a resort. The staff was so friendly, from the housekeepers to the landscapers to front desk for check in/check out, those who helped us with transfers and scheduling excursions, all of the servers (especially Leo and Edgar in the buffet), and everyone we dealt with having to do with the wedding. The videographer, Miguel, was very friendly and we are very excited to see the final wedding video. Our wedding coordinator, Irina, was truly amazing. She has helped me so much in the past year and was great to work with. She truly cared about what we needed and wanted and made our special day a fairytale. The wedding was perfect and exactly what we wanted. Leo, who did my hair for the wedding, did a great job. I loved it!! Everyone at the spa was wonderful. Adriana helped schedule all wedding day hair and makeup appointments for me. The bridal suite I rented was really nice. The resort was beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed our preferred club room with an ocean view. My in-laws were in the governor suite for the weekend and WOW, was it nice! It was a great experience, and i would give this place 5 stars for sure!
