Be Live Collection Punta Cana
Electricity kept going out, TV didn't work very well, when calling room service (3 times) no one answered. Staff was not pleasant at all at any of the restaurants or bars (felt like we were a bother to them). The buffet restaurant's food was poor, the Lobster House food was excellent, and the Auqa restaurant was OK. I would not go back to this hotel.
The food was horrible but the service and hotel was great.
The beach was disgusting and full of seaweed, the lights and water kept going out, 3 of the 4 alla carts restaurants that we paid to have access to were closed during our stay, the pools closed super early and the quality of liquor at the bars were poor.
Jesus & Sonja are the bbest
Check in was horrible took us 4 times waiting in line for our room to be ready. Had to change rooms, due to no air in the first room and the second room was not much better. Little air and a horrible mildew smell. Was told it was all the room but it wasn't had friends and family in other rooms and their room were perfectly fine. Loved the beach bar Sonja & Jesus was the greatest. Treating us like family knowing what drinks we liked and always making sure we had a table to hang out at.
Nice to look at
The pictures don't really represent what the average vacationer will get. The cabanas are for VIP only. The rooms are out dated. It was a nice experience but more so because we had great company. Each couple had issues with their room. Issues with staff. Plumbing issues. We were told to move out things out of our room and we would be transfered to another room 3 hrs later. Which was ridiculous to be without a room mid day in that heat. A person opened our door without knocking whatsoever while I was in the shower and my husband was in bed. Our room was at the edge of the property which was adjacent to a home so we had dogs barking, roosters cock a dooing. The vendors are pushy. The time share people basically kidnap you. They escort you to set up your transportation then deliver you to someone to listen about a time share. I went along not thinking I had a choice in the matter. Admittedly, I enjoyed my time with them but did not purchase a vacation package. But, they are relentless in their efforts to trap vacationers. It's annoying at best. My next resort would have to have no solicitors. The buffet and the steak house provided the best meals. The other restaurants we visited were not great. Fortunately our reservation was early enough to hit the buffet after. It wasn't a horrible vacation but it could have been better.
Not what I expected or what I was looking for.
After reading reveiws about the hotel, I was a little worried. It wasn't as bad as I thought it could have been. But it wasn't what I thought I paid for. I was turned off after staying at this hotel. For all inclusive, I expected more. This was a lower all inclusive hotel, that you have to pay more to get a VIP service. Why pay more? I already paid for an all inclusive stay, and felt like I was at a low brow hotel. Not at all what I expected.
My experience at Be Live
First off it took over 2 hours to check in! That is ridiculous. There were a ton of people helped while I waited. When I finally get to my room it smells horrible and the door handle comes off in my hand every time I try to leave the room. The room was not up dated.
The food however was excellent in the buffet and in the restaurant the drinks were good. That staff was good. The front desk staff not so much. The guest service desk did finally help me get a new room days in after continually complaints.
Great vacation but avoid the casino
We went to play in the casino our 2nd night there. I was playing Texas Hold em and was winning by a decent amount. I decided I had enough and got up to cash out. The casino staff PHYSICALLY would not me leave. They told me I had to keep playing. After arguing to no avail, I sat back down. I tried to just fold out hoping they would let me leave, but they again insisted that I play my hands. At this point my wife who was behind me was getting nervous, and quite frankly a little scared. I ended up leaving with NOTHING. Once I busted out, they let me leave. Whatever you do, do not play there. I went from having some nice change in my pocket, making it an even better vacation, to being down money. Terrible experience.

Air conditioning barely worked had to wait 30 minutes between toilet flushing ceiling fan didn't work only hot, hot water for shower and sink
Vip or low class up to you
they push you on a upgrade to vip, if not it was like coming to a place where you were treated like low class. we had fun but dont like places that if your not VIP then you are not good as in low class. You did not upgrade you did not pay you dont get.....
Do not stay here!
We were less than impressed when we arrived. No one explained anything or gave a tour. Basically we were ushered to our room. Upon arriving the room was uncomfortably warm which is what it stayed the entire trip even after multiple requests to have the a/c looked at. There was a hamburger with bugs left in the non-functioning safe which made me question the cleanliness of the room. The cleaning ladies never changed the sheets only made the bed and only gave us new towels if the old ones were soaked. Most of the staff was unfriendly and gave us the run around if we had questions.

When we first got to our room, it was less to be desired. So we upgraded to the VIP room. It was an ok room but the air conditioning didn’t work. So we told the front desk and they said someone would be over to fix it. No one ever showed. So we slept in a very humid room. Wasn’t worth the hassle to switch rooms again. So we put up with it. Food was ok. The Mexican and the Brazilian restaurants were so good!!! If you don’t eat there at least once, you’re missing out! Drinks were mediocre. Glass bottom boat tour was a lot of fun. Louise and I forget the other guys name(I HATE that I can’t remember it) were very good. They even spotted us the next day and gave us hugs.
I feel like they should enforce a litter rule. People just don’t care if they leave their cups lying everywhere. Because they were everywhere. We even picked some up that weren’t ours. All in all it was a good trip, just no so sure I would go back.
Stay in building 4 and up. The side we were on was VERY dated.
A GREAT Stay
My family and I just stayed here April 13th- April 19th and it was nothing short of amazing! We upgraded and were part of the VIP in a Family suite. Our room was perfect, the cleaning crew was perfect as well as maintenance. We booked this as part of a Groupon deal and were leary to say the least, I contacted the resort a few times to ensure that we were going to have a great time previous to arriving and I really think that it paid off. Artillio's is the front desk manager and he was so accommodating, always was available to make sure that everything was moving smoothly. Food was what was expected for leaving the country, and the entertainment was fantastic. We would travel and stay here again no problem! Thanks Be Live!
This is no 5 star! Unless you stay in the VIP sections!
This resort was not worth the money we spent! We upgraded to VIP the last 2 days just to get a decent drink.. have never experienced such a noticeable difference! I have never experienced such a noticeable 1st class vs 2nd class.. this place needs more shaded areas.. all resorts need to find a way to stop the 5am towel drop offs, its awful! For those of you who think "Just another complainer" you would be very wrong! I have never given a bad review!
Best trip ever!
This place is incredible! I would reccomend it to everyone. Food was delicious and service was great! My water was always full! The animation team was incredible, no idea where the energy comes from but whoa they are full of it! Always dancing and making sure they have your attention! Spaghetti M you were great! Crisa, you my girl! And Tuti Fruiti you made my week! SERGIO!!! The bartender at the pool you the best! Thank you!!! We will be back! And well be bringing friends :-) until next time!
100% happy everyday
We went for a week in mid-April this year. This resort was amazing to say the least. The people working on the resort were nothing but amazing and always so happy. They know how to put on a show and keep the guests super happy. It's almost impossible to be unhappy here. The beach is beautiful with clear blue waters and no seaweed. The food is exceptional and so much to choose from. The glass bottom boat excursion is a MUST! Fransico makes the experience unforgettable! We met so many amazing people. Can't wait to go back
