Apple Vacations Traveller Reviews
A good value but be prepared for some things in a little disrepair.
For the price it's a very good value. The workers are second to none and VERY Friendly and helpful. However, you have to overlook some items falling apart. We had two different rooms. The first room we had water leaking from the bathroom ceiling then it was coming out of the lights. We reported it and they sent someone right away. We ended up having to move rooms. There are lots of little things. Like the door handles on the slider were both falling off. The paper holder next to the toilet was falling off the wall. IN the new room the door wouldn't close unless you slammed it and the strike plate on the door fell off. There are lots of those little things. The shower needed regrouted etc. Though when you think about it you realize you paid so little for lots of days you just have to over look those little things.
hotel still under renovation
Hotel was still under renovation. Some elevators were not functional. So we had to wait significantly longer time to use an elevator. The room where I stayed leaked water though the shower door causing water to flow over the bathroom floor and the closet is the bathroom where I had my suitcase. My one suitcase and clothes in there got all wet. Facilities that were listed as complementary was in fact for fee. Snorkeling, wind surfing, paddle boating were listed as complementary. Amstar is Apple Vacation's local rep. there. If I asked Amstar about the complementary services, they tell me to check with the hotel. If I ask hotel about it, they said "you need talk to apple vacation because they are the one who arranged you trip or check with Aqua World because they are the one who deal with water activity". If I talk to Aqua World, they tell me to talk to the hotel guys. I was bouncing among them. But I did not receive these complementary facility. Beware of timeshare Rep looming around the hotel lobby!
Not worth the money
No hot water in the hotel. Pool was ice cold. Hot tub was the same temperature as the pool. Water in the hotel room was hit or miss for being hot more on the miss. Front desk staff was not very helpful you would ask a question and get a blank stare. No real communication on what events are happening around the hotel. The food in the evening was good but the buffet was horrible. I picked up my bacon and it was not even cooked still raw. Hotel lobby needs work it was rainy and leaking from the ceiling water on the floor is a safety issue. Mixed drinks were sub par. I have never gone on a trip where I counted the hours til it ended. Conceirge service needs a lesson in customer service. Asked to speak to a manager was directed to the spa. I have never been to an all inclusive resort with no stocked mini fridge. We got 2 small bottles of water that we were told if we wanted more we needed to pay. Save yourself the grief and go to another hotel.
read customer reviews!
We generally stay at a five or six golden apple but loved the photos and a lot of the things this four red apple had to offer. I read reviews and decided we would try it. It was awesome the room was the largest room we have ever had and clean. The kids club and waterpark were awesome. The variety of resturants were plenty with great food and great service.Plenty to do day and night with the friendliest staff of workers always willing to accomadate. The beach was nice and clean plenty of chairs and palapas but the ocean is quite rough on that part of the strip. to much for myself and my grandkids but absolutely everything else was fabulous.Well worth the money we would recommend this hotel everyone especially if you have kids.
THE WORST RESORT EVER, STAY AWAY.
This is the worst resort I ever been. 22 of my group of 24 got sick because of the water or the food, both are terrible. We had people with diarrhea and vomiting every day that we stayed there. AVOID THIS PLACE BEFORE YOU GET THERE, IT IS CHEAPER AND SAFER TO GET ANOTHER RESORT.
Family trip for 5
Good-food was veer good. Lots of choices and restaurants were very good. The service throughout the hotel was great and staff was very friendly and happy. No complaints there. Pool was nice. Some stuff floating in it at times. Always activities in the middle pool if you'd like. No problem getting a hut and chairs on the beach. Staff frequently serviced you with drinks while there. My only complaint for the hotel is the mattresses are very hard and the AC isn't very cold in my room and anywhere in the hotel restUrants. The Japanese restaurant was the coldest. So if you like your room very cold, this hotel isn't it. For the price-I had 1 adult child and a15 and 13 year old, it was a nice trip and hotel.
Needs some TLC but our experience was very good.
The resort needs some TLC for sure. That being said, it was clean and nearly all the employees were outstanding. The food was above average and the entertainment staff was excellent. We would go back for sure but as I started with ... the building itself needs some upkeep. My parents did have a couple issues in their beach front room including some flooding (The shower didn't have a door so they just hung a shower curtain which did not work in that type of shower). They did compensate them with a free night though.
Really enjoyed our stay at the Parnassus Resort
Great hotel at a great location on the Cancun strip. Really enjoyed the restaurants, especially the French restaurant. If I had to pick one thing to complain about, it would be the "slow" elevators. The next time I come back I'm booking a room on one of the lower floors, and taking the stairs!
what i expected- fair
The place met our goal- pool, pool activities for kids, beach and friendly staff. the rooms was very old and needs updating. the food was fair and the alcohol was definitely watered down and often the high end was not available. All staff were amazing! i would probably not go back because of the food and alcohol. Price was cheap so I did not set my expectations to high to start.
Bottled water is not included
Bottled water is not included in the "all inclusive plan". They charge 50 cents per 8 ounce bottle. And not all restaurants are open at night. And if you pay for an upgrade in advance, they still try to put you in a basic room.
Very clean hotel. Rap music at the pools was far too loud. Lot of kids

I just spent the best two days of my life with my family at seadust Karla has been a great person I most definitely would comeback next time 👍👍👍👍 I really like the food options and the 24 hour room service. I really liked the kids club for my kids and the water park the kids really liked.
I absolutely love this place but the person you need to find is Karla Ferrer she works for Infinity (the hotel club) but she is way more than that she has been our guide and our help through the whole trip she made the trip way more that just a vacation for us! We plan to come back with the kids next year if not before we are thankful for our time at seaside and even more thankful for Karla
Great family vacation
I just spend 1 week and had a good time in the family oriented resort. Entertainment team and kids club were superb. Great shows and clean place. They made my birthday so special, great staff. good restaurants
Amazing time spent
My time spent at the Seadust Cancun Family Resort was amazing! They had so many great dishes and desserts to try and eleven restaurants to go to. My favorite was the all adult pool that had two hot tubs and a swim up bar. My view from my room overlooked the pools and the city line, it was a treat to be treated with such kindness and hospitality. The supervisor Roberto made sure what everyone was enjoying their stay and have a good time. 10/10 would recommend!
We spent 6 amazing days at this resort. 11 restaurants to choose from an adult only pool area great food and an awesome time with shopping near by. The hotel spa was great and the casino was a lit of fin. I would recommend this resort the staff are very friendly
