Al of the star we came in contact with were very friendly. Our concierge Ana was awesome! She did everything she could to get our dinner times we wanted & help us with any requests! Love her! Our Maid Claudia did an amazing job of keeping our room clean & making sure we had all we needed. Miguel at the one swim up bar was always on top of his game! One of the other bartenders Alejandro even remembered us & my husbands name from last year! Now that's impressive with the volume of people they seen in a year. The food was good at the buffets & all of the specialty restaurants. Our favorites are the Steak House & the Japanese. We did those twice! I don't have a bad word to say about the hotel, staff, or the food! Great experience as always. We have stayed there 9 times!
We Love Iberostar Lindo!
We have stayed at Iberostar 5 times and love the staff, accommodations, and the beach! Staying at the Lindo is a bit of an upgrade from Del Mar . But, we love them both!

I would highly recommend this resort. The facilities were amazing and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pool, beach and restaurants were all fantastic.
Great for family adventures
My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon with Iberostar Paraiso Lindo. The staff was phenomenal, especially Nestor and Alba. The restaurants were delicious. The only gripe we had was that this resort is set up more for families with kids than just couples. A majority of the activities were set up for kids and the pool area was not really a place to relax with children running and splashing everywhere. Next time we would definitely choose to pick the Grande of Iberostor because we love the people of the resort but we don't want to be surrounded by all of the kids.
Love this Resort
This was the sixth time at this resort and even more enjoyable than the previous five. The food was better, with even more variety than ever. The activity staff is great, especially the head of the staff, Gilmor, who is also the emcee at most night's entertainments. The entertainment is significantly better than the past. The Christmas eve dinner was fantastic along with the way the buffet area was decorated. I have recommended this resort to many of my friends and upon returning from their vacations, have thanked me for the recommendation. By the way, the entry into the Iberostar complex, is just beautiful.
First of all, let me start off by saying that we love this resort and the hard working staff, and this is why we keep coming back.
My husband and I have been traveling to this resort since 2012 and each time we have stayed in building 53, room 83, facing the pool. When I booked this trip, I immediately contacted the resort and requested the same room. I know that there are NO guarantees, but it worked in the past. This visit, we were housed in building 51, room 11, which is a first floor, corner room, facing the Beach resort. HATED IT!!! The safe didn't work upon arrival and security had to be called on two different occasions to address the problem, the TV had to be re-programmed, and you had to "jiggle" the toilet handle to keep it from running after each flush. After dinner on the first night, we returned to our room to find that someone entered and turned-down the sheets and left chocolates and linens on the floor to wipe your feet prior to getting into bed. ALL OF THIS WAS ANNOYING!!!!! The amount of traffic at this corner/intersection was mind-boggling. Construction vehicles, delivery trucks, resort carts, it was non-stop. On our last night, around 1:30am, we heard someone trying to get into our room. Scary. Our flight back to Baltimore was scheduled for a 1:30pm departure. We were picked up at 9:10am and arrived at the airport at 10:00am. We stood in line for 1 hour before any agents from Alaska Airlines arrived to start the check in process. Needless to say, we enjoyed our stay, no as much as previous times, but will return.
A really good place
We had four previous stays at the neighboring Paraiso Playa and del Mar, which we really like, but the Lindo is a step up, with a wave pool and a lazy river added to the other swimming pools. Food service was excellent. And there were plent of chairs at the pool, thanks to the hotel policy of not allowing people to "reserve" a chair by leaving a towel on it at 6 a.m. The Paraiso complex is a great place to stay and you can't go wrong with any of their resorts there.
The resort is way to big! It takes 10+ min to get anywhere walking, they have a shuttle but you have to wait for it. Food was not great either.
Pros: Friendly staff; beautiful room & grounds, spacious swimming pools
Cons: The food was not very good and there are some minor maintenance problems in the rooms. We had to have our safe repaired twice. There were problems a 3rd time but we changed the combination to numbers that still worked on the safe. The toilet need maintenance, the hall light went out and was not fixed, and the refridgerator was warm.
Good except food.
Everything exceded our expectations except for the temperature of the food. Pool, Beach, Bars, Room, and the facilities themselves were great. The Japanese food was wonderful. All the hot food items on the buffets were at best luke warm. Our dining experience would have been way more enjoyable if the hot foods were even warm,
Most acomidating and friendly staff! The food was excellent bartenders did a great job of surving drinks. This family will definitely be back!

The resort was beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Great for families with children. My biggest concern was that if someone ordered room service at night. The food sat outside until morning, inviting animals to finish the leftover room service in the hallways. They should be quicker about cleaning up after room service deliveries. Food was OK.. not spectacular. Not enough fresh food...(i.e frozen vegetables, prepackaged pastry etc) I questioned if some of the food one days lunch buffet was repurposed from yesterday's buffet or one could tell it was not freshly made. The food was good but the daily buffet had the same food. Overall it was a great family vacation.
Let me please start by saying this resort is absolutely beautiful. The restaurants, the pools, the lobbies, the rooms, the grounds are all very well maintained and kept spotlessly clean. Our housekeeper, Estefania completely spoiled us. The room was immaculate and she left us towel animals and shapes in the curtains daily. Our concierge, Erick DeLeon went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed on a daily basis. All of the wait staff and bartenders were engaging, friendly and professional. The food was good and plentiful, the drinks were well made and we never had to wait for refills. The bell boys were friendly and eager to ensure we found all of our restaurants in time for our reservations. We never saw anyone that wasn't smiling and offering a "hola" and a good morning. We will definitely continue to stay with Iberostar in different locations.
Now, about the guests. I was appalled at the rudeness of the guests towards the staff. People left trash lying all over, empty cups in the pools and sand, dirty dishes in the corridors. I would hope they don't treat their homes with such disregard and was embarrassed that they thought it was okay to behave away from home in that way. Please be kind the your hotel staff. They put up with a lot and you don't have to be rude and a pig to have a great vacation.
Exceptional Resort and Service!
The service and resort was amazing. Although there was a lot of seaweed the crew did their best to stay on top of it. Guest Services was able to accommodate all of our needs. I would like to give a special thanks to Julie Cardona! She was very helpful and followed through on a personal request. I also want to note that the beds were the most comfortable I had ever slept in. Thank you Iberostar!
Best Ever! Lindo is the one.
My fiancĂ© Deb and I (Dan) just got back from 7 days of heaven at this unbelievable hotel. Iâ€™ll be brief and to the point and share a few pictures of our great time.
SHOUTOUTS : The reason it was so great was the people that work there not necessarily the management or the hotel owners. Also to many of the other guests who we got to know ! Our waiter MAURICIO treated us like family and is such a wonderful person and fantastic waiter!!! And head bell man and overall cool dude , Evelio!!! And the pool bar bartender JosĂ©, and bartender Hugo at the poolside bar all added to our trip tremendously. All the other staff was fantastic as well:-)
POOL BEACH LAZY RIVER :: nothing to say but pure heaven. No chlorine !!
GROUNDS ANIMALS AND SUCH:: amazing peacocks and coati.
RULES:: as long as youâ€™re not an idiot there are none. Be respectful of the people there as they are for you.
PRICE :: overall fantastic but spirit airlines was terrible.
GETTING AROUND:: Beautiful to walk everywhere but the rides are plentiful.
We stayed at the LINDO and we highly recommend you do the same for the price you have the best pool and really donâ€™t want to visit the higher up two hotels Unless you really want peace and quiet. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz All we can say is we had the best time of our lives and will be back shortly. And donâ€™t go for the food :-)
Memorable Resort and Wedding
I had a great time at the Hotel Iberostar Paraiso Maya went there for a wedding and was welcomed to a friendly staff and great service. My favorite restaurant was the habachi spot and had a great concierge named Alexander Espinal he was really helpful with getting me a new room key and also going through the check out process.
