This was our second time at Secrets Capri. It is one of the older Secrets locations - my husband proposed to me in the gazebo in 2008 so it is a special place to us. Everything was wonderful with this stay with the exception of the pool. We still enjoyed it immensely but it is showing its age and really needs some repair on the floor tile. We were trying to play pool volleyball with some other visitors and several people commented how rough the pool floor was and to be careful. One young lady had to quit because she did cut her foot on a broken tile. This is unfortunate because Secrets Capri has one of the best beaches you will find in this area of multiple resorts. The food was great, service superb! We enjoyed our stay tremendously! If the pool were taken care of - it would be the perfect place!
Secrets Resorts Never Disappoint.
We arrived early enough in the day where we could enjoy swimming, and all three meals. The resort is smaller than the other Secrets resorts but still very beautiful and clean. The service is excellent and we never in need of anything. The maid service was prompt and thorough. The food was very good excepts the desserts need work. The pool is beautiful and kept very clean. The swim up bar is something we enjoyed every day and the service there was also very friendly. All the bars were excellent as well with friendly staff and prompt service. The ONLY see I would suggest is having more entertainment where couples can slow dance. I've been to other resorts where small bands played in the lobby and patio nightly and couples were couples could enjoy a bit of romance. I only saw it at a cocktail party but it was only during pre dinner hours and no one would dance.
All in all, this is my fourth Secrets Resorts stay. I've been to Jamaica, Punta Cana, and also the Silversands in Riviera. All excellent!! It's why I keep booking them.
My wife and I honeymooned to Secrets Capri August 28th-Sept 4. We were impressed the moment we drove up. We really liked the small size of the resort. The food, oceanfront walkout room, service, spa was all excellent. We will definitely return to Secrets Capri!
Our room was wonderful besides the fact that it rained really hard one day and the rain leaked into our room! The entertainment was always women in extremely skimpy outfits so it made some shows uncomfortable to watch. It really however was a great experience and we enjoyed ourselves. We wish we would have known that some restaurants required long pants because that limited some of our restraint choices which was unfortunate.
Needs some work
The staff was great, food good but the hotel itself and the pool need a overhaul.
Can't wait to go back!
This was our first trip to Mexico and our first time staying at an all-inclusive resort and it was wonderful! The service was exceptional and everyone was so incredibly nice, they really seemed to go out of their way to make sure everyone was taken care of. We took several tours and were able to get a glimpse of quite a few other resorts as the vans picked up other couples in our group so I can say that this particular resort is definitely a lot smaller than most. However, that is one of the things we really liked about it! Everything is close so you don't have to walk far for dinner and it's not too crowded. We only had to wait for a table one night and the wait was only about 15 minutes. We really enjoyed this trip and would not hesitate to choose this resort again in the future!
We were amazed on a constant basis by the attentiveness and indisputable work ethic of the hotel staff.
We have been to this hotel last year in 2016 and all was excellent. Went back this year and check in girl very unfriendly. Room we had this year all good but AC was bad. Last year very cold and cool, this year couldn't even sleep with a sheet on. All other staff, food, drinks, beach excellent.
The resort itself is beautiful and is situated right on the ocean. We really enjoyed the beachside service, however this resort is more relaxed than expected and seems geared for the over 55 age group.
Secrets Capri Riviera in Cancun
The hotel in general was clean but in need of updates. tiles in the pool needed repairing. Air conditioning in room was under par and almost non existent in common areas. Food was great as was the staff
Good hotel overall, the biggest complaint I had was I thought the hotel was very cheap with the food. Very small portions, charged extra for wines, very think cut steaks. Just a general cheapness overall with food.

Another great trip!
Had a great time. Smaller property, but we actually liked that. Never felt too crowded or like there wasn't something to do. Stayed on property most of the time. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back experience. We'll be back!
We had a wonderful time at the resort, this was my second time at the resort and I plan to return at the end of the year
Beer drinkers bring coozie or Yeti cup
The Spa was amazing, the package we bought seemed pricey at first but was worth every penny
Roberto our concierge was great
Omar the bar tender at the sports bar was very pleasant and did an awesome job
Don't expect too much
Came here for 5 days in mid July for a small vacay with a friend. Decor of the resort is ok, may need some updates. A la carte restaurants are not too spectacular. Buffet restaurant doesn't offer too much varieties. Evening entertainment is sub par. Staff on the other hand is quite friendly. The spa is away from the main resort which is fine however the entrance area to the hydrotherapy is extremely slippery. I almost fell and I saw a couple more guests almost fell as well. For the price that we paid, my friend should have paid a tiny bit more and instead stayed at the resorts (any El Dorado or Azul resorts by Karisma) where I have membership with.
This was our first trip to Mexico and an all inclusive. I was a little unsure upon arrival because we booked an "ocean view" suite and to actually see the ocean you had to go out of our room, step off the balcony and crane your neck. The front desk of course offered us a better room for an addition $$ per night but my husband and I decided it wasn't worth it. We were soo happy that we kept our room. Who cares about the view, the pool is the main attraction. We literally floated on rafts and drank poolside every day except one. That day we reserved a cabana bed on the beach. The music was great, the other guests were great, the food was wonderful. Juan is an amazing bartended at the pool. He made up new drinks all day long and they were delicious. Hector from entertainment is hilarious and seriously must live there, he is there morning, noon and night. The resort was very clean, staff is everywhere and always willing to help. The buffet is probably the best during breakfast, not impressed with it for dinner. Portifino (the Italian restaurant) was delicious, hibachi was good and we loved the beachfront cafe for breakfast or a snack. The evening entertainment (Elvis, variety show) were a little cheesy but that may be normal for all inclusives? I'm not sure. Needless to say it was a wonderful and relaxing vacation. Would highly recommend it.
This was our 2nd trip here. We was just here 4 months ago. Just as happy the 2 nd time. Staff was great, food was great, good entertainment. Would recommend to anybody. Already scheduling a trip back. Thanks again for a great time.
