Overall a good holiday some bad things but also many good things. First we were put in block 2 with adjoining room and next door was some very very load Mexicans coming in early hours of the morning and shouting down the phone for at least oan hour and another time turning on the tv what seemed like full volume at 3 am.we complained and was moved very quickly to block 1 which is much quieter.tip ask for block 1.this hotel does need to be managed better regarding Mexicans as they like to shout at each other across the pools and all try and talk over each other at the same time, not what you want on a relaxing holiday.food was good especially the steak and rib restaurant. Nice beach and salt pool, the best thing about this hotel was the staff all were more than helpful and some very funny.bit annoying about being ask every day ( any allergies and room number) as this is all inclusive.

Complete let down

First let me start off by saying we spoke with someone at this resort about receiving an oceanview room...he said he put the request in. My husband and I arrived and THERE'S NO NOTES in the computer. Their explanation was "I was talking to someone that works at a different palladium". How would I know where this guy works? He booked our trip, knew where we was staying everything...now the deal was a FREE upgraded room if one is available- the manager said there wasn't any available...BUT then tried to explain to us it would be $500 for an upgraded room...so this is what makes me mad- its only available if we out paying which was not part of the original agreement. We get to our room door is broken so key isn't working. They never gave us our bracelets to receive food. (A security guard asked us on our 2nd day where they were) anf lastly we never got pool keys. The check in process was completely horrible. Next problem with this resort was I do realize it's a spanish speaking country but I strongly think the staff should speak English. About 5% of the staff knows English and its extremely frustrating when staff just walks away because they dont know. Also their club palladium promoters in check in are extremely "pushy". I understand they are doing their job but completely lying to us was ridiculous. They said "your taxi left"! Now the country itself was AMAZING. And the excursions were the best we ever did. They need to work on their manners. The food wasn't horrible but room service, viva mexican, buffet, and bamboo were good...the others we didn't care for. Would we go back to this resort? Absolutely not...we would stay somewhere else. I was mind blown this was rated so highly and we received this type of service.

Decant place but some stuff is rude

I wish I could give this hotel more stars but my experience wasn’t that great. I think they are trying and some stuff working very hard when others are rude and tired. Check in was pretty smooth but I had to push harder to get room on the main level ( when I requested it ahead of time when emailed a few weeks before arrival). Advantages: Good a la carte restaurants (we tried Mexican and beach bbq) Ocean and swim up pool Good pool for kids and daycare Good entertainment every evening Great lobby bar Adult pool Disadvantages: Lots of hills and walking Very noisy in the hall when trying to sleep or relax Time share approach Distance from the airport about an hour or longer House keeping service (cleaning wasn’t great for us) Fridge in the room was room temperature We had hard time to sleep as people were constantly walking on the hallway and you can hear every single step. No soundproof at all. Tail floor. I had bad experience at the buffet when we got the table outside (wired system that we had to give out room number every time we come for breakfast or dinner and last name and some days they had 8-10 people in the line!). I cannot take heat easy so we moved to the air conditioning part of the building and they kicked me and my 2 years old out. I tried to explain this young gentleman (who called himself manager) that we cannot stand the heat but he didn’t care and pointed to the other side even though my husband got a high chair for our son and we sat down. I then went really angry as I couldn’t believe he wanted us out instead of just making things smooth and leaving us alone to have our meal. We then stood up and I had to take my toddler and get out but I called manager this time and talked to the other manager who apologized and took us to the same table to continue with our meal. I just cannot believe how bad we were treated by the other young guy who gave us sush a hard time. I saw him next day again and instead of saying hi or apologize he just turned away and left. What a rude stuff! That’s why my main expression about this holel is not good. They do have a daycare which is great for families with kids. I do recommend using adult only pool when using daycare. Daycare is free and they do require to register and you will have radio walki talki with you in case of emergency

Our first time here and it was everything we wanted. It would have been nice to be closer to excursion options such as BUT Vista Paraiso is minutes away which only costs dollars to get there and they have offer nice outing / excursion options. Our room - section "1" was just above the Adults Only pool. Short stairway to the beach. We were two doors to the stairs leading to the adults pool and two flights down. Carlos, Sergio, Melissa, Allan (Geovani) and Eriberto - the crew at the Secret bar were great, always friendly and in " Carlos' " words ALWAYS A PLEASURE. Things happen and people get busy but this crew were always trying to be aware of those in their area. If they saw you coming, they were usually getting what you needed before you were there - - "IF" of course, you had regular requests and if not, they were always there to ask.

Not as good as we were expecting

We recently spent two weeks at this hotel and from the reviews previously written we were expecting sheer luxury but sadly the hotel did not live up to expectations. The hotel firstly is over an hour from Puerto Vallarta, it is in infact closer to Nuevo Vallarta. taxis to and from the hotel and very expensive. The hotel is tired and needs updating, the pools need a bloody good scrub and better pathways to and from the restaurants and pools needs to be created as some pathways are terrible and no good for anyone with walking difficulties. The staff are very hardworking and very friendly, in particular I want to say a special thanks to all of the staff at the inifinity pool who were all amazing. A special thanks all goes to Rusbel and Wendy who looking after most evenings in the lobby bar and also Jose in the Hemings Bar. The hotel is also overloaded with people trying to sell Travel club which is really timeshare although they insist it is not, but other guests went along to their meetings and confirmed it is timeshare. There is a small animal sanctuary in the hotel grounds and we were advised they were rescue animals, however the areas that they are kept in is far too small and close to the entertainment areas, the music in the evenings is very loud and there is no escape from it for the animals. The al a carte restaurants were ok but nothing exceptional. There is only one main buffet restaurant in the evenings open, but one night, despite the hotel being at full capacity, this restaurant was closed and relocated to another, very small restaurant on site which only has approx 20 tables. There was a small notice at the buffet restaurant telling guests of the closure which was not acceptable but what was even more unacceptable was the reason why it was closed which we only found out some days later which was that the hotel management had taken it over for a private function for themselves for a hotel anniversary party!!!!!! We all paid a lot of money to stay at this hotel however we were the ones being deprived of the facilities so that hotel management could have a party at our expensive? The only other problem at this hotel was the poor air conditioning in the restaurant areas, they were very poor. Would I recommend this hotel to anyone, sadly however probably not to be honest which is very disappointing.
