Hotel was decent for price. Beach and pool nice. Bar on beach you will wait 20 to 30 min for a drink so miswell stay in line. Food choices are very poor. Breakfeast was about the best meal not many choices.

This hotel was not a comfortable place to stay. My room was hot (air conditioner wasn't working correctly). No coffee maker was provided in the room. The coffee shop they had open had terrible coffee, and they did not have creamer. The staff was helpful when you tipped a lot of money. Otherwise they were not very friendly or helpful.

The hotel staff worked constantly to keep the pool and beach areas clean. The staff providing daily activities were enthusiastic and friendly. The wait service at the buffets was inconsistent. The nightly shows we're entertaining but sometimes in a cheesy way, such as the Michael Jackson show. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to those who are looking for a clean, pleasant resort without luxury.

When we booked this hotel, we read the reviews and knew we would get what we paid for. It is family friendly. The shallow water was good for kids, the kid's supervised area was wonderful, but everything else was very fair. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I would rate it a three apple. Not four. Read all the reviews and be prepared. If you don't expect much, then you will have a good time. I will suggest going to the sister hotel if you want waves in the ocean. However, we were surprised they didn't have transportation. We had to get a cab and go over. Now, that was a hotel!

All inclusive not what it is supposed to be

When we got off the plane and looked for the Apple rep, he was not looking for us because we where not on the correct list. The flight information on his documents was incorrect. We then get to the hotel and get told there is "two" types of inclusive. We are the purple band so we can only eat at 2 restaurants. They "upgraded" our room but made it more difficult to walk up to the bar because we had to walk out of our hotel tower and across the pool to the other hotel. Everything was in the other hotel. It was a hassle! Then we are harassed by a timeshare company that didn't want us to meet with the Apple rep for tours. Then in our room the water came out yellow in the shower and the blankets smelled dirty. I wish I would of been told about the different levels of all inclusive upfront. Also some of the workers at the restaurants would make comments of why my 6 year old doesn't speak Spanish. That is none of their business and they should of not been saying anything to me about that!

Very disappointed with the hotel service overall. Lines for everything elevator, restaurant ,they lie about all inclusive you're limited on everything , an the worst part there is bedbugs on their rooms. Won't ever book on Oasis hotels again.

Worst Hotel Ever!

From the minute we walked in the service was horrible! Front staff was walking around and not helping people check in! I had to ask three different people for proper line to check in! We paid for ocean view room and were told that although we had view we didn't have windows that open or balcony! Hotel has 6 restaurants but we were only able to eat at two of them!! Lines to eat were ridiculous and food was flavorless. Hotel is extremely understaffed and staff are not friendly! I would never ever stay there again!

Great stay at the Oasis Palm

Stayed 7 nights at the Oasis Palm with 4 friends over spring break, all college students. We had such a great time during our stay. The hotel staff was working round the clock and it was very clean. The food was decent in the restaurants, every night had different things, tons of options. The bartenders were good, drinks strong and the wait was never too long. The beach/pool area very cleanly and had music going all day. Nightlife at the hotel was decent, the club there was always pretty busy and had a good time there. We went during college spring break so it was tons of kids everywhere, so that was great, always something going in. Everyone was very respectful so families and older couples could still enjoy themselves. Only thing was the rooms felt a little damp and had the moist smell, but it is year round tropical weather so that is expected! I would recommend this hotel to others. Seen some pretty negative reviews but felt they were false. We were kind of nervous on going after seeing them online but were very impressed with everything.

This was our 3rd time in CANCUN and so far our Favorite resort, the hotel it self is a little out dated but the staff, food, drinks were grate. They had the best beach side so clean and big lots of chairs and big beach beds and every room is Oceanview! Over all we loved it all and grate location in town to walk around or even do some shopping!!

The total trip cost was appropriate. You get what you pay for. you should not hear the disco from your room. Your maid should probably be done by 3:30 instead of 5:30? Beach towels should be available before 10:00? They probably should not run out of beach towels? We spend little time in the room. It was clean and we had clean towels. The food was acceptable. Beach food had long lines. The Grand Oasis should have its own beach food. Bars were acceptable but lines increased as people from the Grand showed up. The only thing keeping this hotel from being great is lack of keeping up with the customers from the grand oasis palm.

This was my family's third visit to The Oasis Palm resort and we love it more every time! Perfect place for a family vacation. It has a beautiful beach and pool area with many good restaurants, and everything is very clean and well kept! The Kids Club is great. It has many activities for the little ones. The entertainment staff have fun activities planned throughout the day for everyone by the pool area. The staff is amazing. Startjng with the director of the hotel Ms. Adelaida Arzola to the entertainment staff ( Heidy, Alejandro, Carlos, Juan Carlos, Ivan, Benjamin, David and Eddy), The actors (Juan, Fernanda, Melissa, Ivonne, and Carlos), the pool waitress Laura, the capitan of the restaurant “Los Agaves” Luis and Julian our waiter, Gustavo the capitan of the restaurant “Las Palmas” and the friendly people at the concierge desk (Leidy and Alejandro). Laura the Palm Pool waitress was great and was quick to get you a drink. Overall the staff, the hotel, and everything made our stay truly enjoyable! Can't wait to visit again!

To begin with our travel agent booked us at the wrong hotel. I hated everything about the first day at this hotel. We were supposed to be at the Grand Oasis Cancun, their sister company. We were given an upgrade to the Grand Oasis Palm on the ground floor because we are smokers the terrace was great. Room was 2 queen beds pushed together which was fine. Hot water took forever to get hot and every time someone was in the shower or flushed the toilet or used the bathroom sink the room would fill with the smell of raw sewer.... So Annoying Some of the workers are not that friendly and found myself having to remind some that the color of money is green no matter where you go. Food not that exciting. But i do love me some "Pancita" (Tripe for those that do not know) and they had it almost every day. The Seafood restaurant they have is ok but I loved the Grilled Octopus in Ink. At Agave I loved the Fig and Cheese salad with Honey Dressing. On to the fun at the beach. 1st it's not PRIVATE at all and found myself saying no Gracias quite often but it was the same 5 vendors that walked up and down. It is a self service beach area, meaning at 7:45-8:00 am you go to the towel hut and pick up beach towels and go find some prime real estate under a hut. For the most part other patrons respect if the chairs are taken. Our number 1 server on the beach hands down the best of the best I have encountered is the famous HERVIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is so very polite and would constantly ask if you wanted any drinks. Once he saw you ordered the same drink often the drinks would just show up without asking (now that's the way to vacation). The activities staff (i.e. volleyball, pool games) were excellent in getting people to join together for a very competitive game of volleyball. We were there for 8 days. I would only return to this hotel again for the calm waters and HERVIN
