Stay away from this hotel poor service, we were put in a building that was closed and under construction not what we asked for at all the water does not drain properly, the rooms are filthy,no hair dryer or iron they charge for wifi and the safe box from ur room and if something gets stolen because it's not in the safe box they are not responsible🤔Really 😡Not cool this hotel is the worst I have ever been to starting with the poor service at check in over 2 hrs to top that the rooms aren't even ready when they say and to get your key after check in it's another 60 min. You are on ur own for any problems because there in no manager u can talk to to solve ur problem I had the worst stay of my life NEVER W

Made reservations at Paraiso Maya, upon arrival we were upgraded to the Grand! Service was absolutely unbelievable!!!! Highly recommended
It was a great trip. Apple Vacations did a great job at providing us with everything we needed. the hotel and ocean was great also. definitely well worth the money and will do it again, as long as its with Apple Vacations.
No dressers in your rooms made living out my suitcase for 7 nights became extremely anoying. On the 2nd day the house keeping woman left the floor wet where I slipped and fell, and fingers on each hand are still swolen today. The food was terrible. 4 out of the 7 nights I left the resort for dinner. Including on my 50th birthday. I stated at check in that I was here for my 50th birthday, hoping for a time I'll never forget. Since I'll ony have one 50th birthday. I didn't remember I mentioned that until the day before I left I heard someone being sung happy birthday to at their hotel room doo on the morning of the 8th. How nice I thought, wish that could've been done for me 2 days ago on my birthday. The only thing I truly liked was the beach.
Two classes of service.
The problem with the Oasis Cancun Lite is that it seems to be the stepchild of the main hotel. Unfortunately the staff at one hotel didn't seem to know what the left hand was doing. For instance. When I asked where I could print my boarding passes at the Lite desk, they sent me to the main pyramid desk. When I got there the person at the desk basically said well you should have went to the concierge at Lite. Then he proceeded very sarcastically to say well you have 2 options--you can stay here and wait for others to get off the computers or you can go back to the concierge at Lite. When I asked hey why did they send me 1/4 mile here in the first place. He just looked at me and said well sir you have two options quite sarcastically. By the way gthe concierge at the Lite was not in the lobby area but somewhere down a long hallway at the end of a string of guest rooms-- really in the middle of nowhere and hard to find. I guess that was my firt clue that guest services were not a priority. To be fair the concierge was very helpful though--when you did find him. The maids and other staff seemed very nice and helpful. Upon checkout I was told to check out at the main desk at the pyramid because the Lite desk wouldn't be open at 5A.M.--again second class citizens I guess. When I checked out I was told that also airport pickup was also at the pyramid and not Lite lobbies. I protested that I'd already walked a quarter mile to the main lobby and had to walk 1/4 mile back again and I wasn't going to lug 3 suitcase another quarter mile back. I have a bad back and that just wasn't going to happen. Again if you stayed at the Cancun Lite area it seems you got second class service. I prevailed on the desk to tell the airport transport to pick me up at the Lite lobby. Many aspects of the hotel were very good but it was quite apparent that Oasis Cancun Lite was second fiddle yo the main hotel. It seemed like they were running two different classes of service and two different hotels. And one hotel didn't seem to know what the other was doing. In short I felt like I was a second class guest and would not stay at the hotel again.
The resort grounds are gorgeous and well maintained! But, we were placed in a wing where there were renovations going on, despite having made our reservation 3 months in advance. Despite many pleas the staff refused to move us to another building. We woke up and went to sleep with the sound of hammers and drills. This building also seemed to be where all of the large groups were housed - and most were 18-20 year olds. They partied outside our door until 4:00 a.m, screamed and ran up and down the halls. I was with my family for a Thanksgiving holiday and would've prefered being in a "family friendly" environment.
There was no water pressure in the shower. The room smelled like paint fumes from the repairs going on in the next room. The food wasn't very good. Staff was friendly, and the pool was great.
A large staff were working all the time on our eleeping area:painting, reparing walls, wires ,sterways elevators etc . the whole week it was very anoying.
Grand Oasis Cancun is bad..Trust the Reviews Don't do it. Can't Believe Apple would recommend
Difficult to get towel on beach,personnel rude, on phone, pool dirty,smelled like urine. Beach area dirty, early morning signs of vomit still there, empty plastic cups, cig. butts, beach chairs broken. Sarape poor service, need to re train.Waiter forgot us. Room needs updating, drawers broken, mold growing in bathroom. No coffee pot, no refrig, no ice bucken, no iron/board. Water puddle in floor from airconditiong. I have been to many Hotel and resorts in Cancun and this is the worst. So disappointing.
Probz wont stay here again, good for 20 year olds.
This hotel was alright. The biggest problem that we had was with the service that we recieved. We called to have bottles of water delivered to our room, but we never got them. Otherwise, the beach and the pool facilities were great.

Unfair reviews on here !
First off I would like to say that a lot of the reviews on here are really unfair and I didn’t see hardly any of the so called issues people were talking about!
I’ll start with the few negatives which were in no way enough to warrant a bad score or ruin my holiday !
Check in is slow and one day our card stopped working and my partner had to wait an hour just for a new card ! Rooms are a bit dimly lit only a few spotlights and a lamp so at night it’s pretty hard to see anything . I also agree with the water drainage when it rains but they were keen to clean it up quickly !
Ok so the good points :
The resort itself is massive and there was loads to do , never struggled for sun beds as the pool is massive and all of the staff I encountered were super friendly all over the resort
We had an ocean view room and it was lovely and clean with a bottle of bubbly when we arrived . The maid service was efficient and mini bar always topped up .it is a little noisy in the day but hey who cares as it was easy to sleep at night .
We thought we would miss out by not having black bands but I honestly don’t think they were worth it as we had access to 16 bars and restaurants anyway !
Food was overall really great with a good selection of foods from sushi to steak to Chinese . The steak and roddizzo place was awesome !
I travel a lot and like the finer things in life but I have to say I would stay here again as it ticked pretty much all the boxes for me . Come with an open mind and I’m sure you will find most of the negative comments on here are very over exaggerated!!
Excellent resort. Wonderful beach and swimming pool. Cool people. Drink and food was nice too. If you want to have fun, this is the place. I woukd like to return as soon as possible. Thanks Grand Oasis for this fun time.
We appreciate very much the restaurants, and the night entertainment. The room has some problem: the room door didn't close well, and one day we experienced a lack of water, some guy from maitenance close the central water tap. Despite this we appreciate our stay at Grand Oasis.
An amazing stay at GRAND OASIS CANCUN
Me and my two children stayed in Cancùn for Christmas.
Just an amazing week , during which we have had the time to travel around doing some sightseïng , and just lay down and rest in the sun....
So yes we enjoy very much our stay, the hotel was nice, quiet and very clean.
All spots were just wonderful restaurants, swimming pools and the beach side !!
Nice place for party, mostly people are young. But the food is not that good, it doesn’t have many options and one order is not enough, the waiters mostly are very unhelpful (not at all, there is some good waiters and also good restaurants, but just a few, like 2 or 3, no more). The food isn’t 24 hours like they say, even if you’re in the pyramid, also the open bar is not that good. The hotel is really beautiful but I don’t recommend this place.
