We come to this resort at least once a year for the last 10 years. Sometimes as many as three times a year. We bring family and friends and are never disappointed. The only disappointment is having to leave. Our son got engaged at this resort and the staff was incredibly helpful in making it a very memorable occasion. We have made many friends of the staff over the years. It feels like coming home when we visit. I wish I could share all of the names of people that made the last trip great. Some are Jessica at First Club. Jose and Santiago who always have a smile and remember what our favorite drink is. We can't wait for December to come so we can visit again.
Had a brilliant week here in April. Amazing service and friendly staff (Eric especially), good drinks, plenty of decent food, lovely pool and right on the beach. Only issue was the room had a leak which despite 3 requests was never fixed, and the cleaning staff were a bit haphazard (you could tell it wasn't cleaned every day). No wi-fi either which was surprising - cheaper to buy data than pay the hotel. Would stay again.
Amazing beach.. Food lets this hotel down - dont get conned by the $50 wifi!!!
We stayed at Allegro for a week. The beach and entertainment was great.. That would be all though, such a shame.
We arrive at the hotel and were told wifi was $25 for the week (and the wifi only works in 3 places at the hotel). To which I agreed and signed. Upon checking out - they had upped the price to $50...when I was told $25. Day light robbery - especially as the wifi only worked by the pool!
Food - DO NOT TRUST THE GUY AT THE BUFFET (MAIN RESTUARANT) who cooks meat/fish fresh on the grill...I got fish and chicken on 2 separate occasions.. and both were not cooked through properly raw as hell when I got to the middle.
Food wasnt labelled (i was with a vegan who couldnt tell whether food had meat in or not)
The buffet food is average - reminds me of a school canteen. The Grill next to the aqua bar is ok..
Dont get roped into the time share at xcaret either - we got roped into this thinking we where going to a dolphin tour - but when we got there it was actually a timeshare at xcaret. This took out 6 hours of our morning.
All in all - this hotel is average., I would look for another hotel with free wifi and better food when i return to Mexico next year.
Best way to end three months of traveling👊🏼 this hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed in! They have so many options for food and drinks🍸and they offer a lot of daily activities, Erik from the entertainment staff will be your guy if you want to join💙👌🏼awesome dude😜 rooms are good as well! Great stay 🙌🏽
Everything with this hotel is great!! The food is so good, you can get whatever you want, either buffet or ala carte. And the desserts are the best!! If you are keen on doing any activities, Erick is the guy to talk to!! He is easy to find around the pool making conversations with everyone😊 definitely the best guy around🙌🏼
